"The place is beautiful and the owner is lovely. She will remind you of your family. We went twice and she greeted us like a family. The place is small so waiting can be a pain but its all worth it. She is old and very busy handling things alone so make sure to go there opening time and wait for table to get free. We love Mami and would have went again if it was open on Sunday."

"What a place. We can’t recommend it enough. Mamie Susan is an absolute gem who will welcome you like family. We ordered and loved the famous boeuf Bourguignon and the Poulet Rôti. Thank you again Mamie Susan for the evening, we walked back home with our belly full and our heart filled with gratitude."

"The place is super tiny and you'd be shocked when you enter. There are 3 tables that seat two people each. Perfect for a dinner with a close friend or a date! No reservations are possible so you're lucky if you get a table. I suggest going during the week at opening hours. The owner is very sweet although at first she could seem slightly annoyed. She loves to interact with her clients, so be prepared for some amazing conversations!! Food was classis and great. There was a lot of complementary food that made the experience all the more memorable."

"In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Paris. Beyond the absolutely stunning food—which is arguably the most authentic French cuisine you can find—Mamie was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made a real effort to communicate with us even though our French isn't the best. The free sangria, complimentary dessert, and the lovely Paris souvenirs really made our day! A truly unforgettable experience, and I would recommend it to any one who visits Paris."

"Contrary to the other reviewers, we didn’t think that the food was that special (we got the two most popular dishes - the beef bourguinion and the roast chicken). However the vibe was heartwarming. It’s a cozy family restaurant owned by an elderly couple with the gentleman cooking and the lady serving. She was a gem. The interior decor was adorable. I think it’s worth dining here not for the food but just for the authentic grandma’s house dining experience. We came at 9pm right when tables were turning and had to wait 25 min which I think was a fortunately short wait compared to what other reviewers have said."

"Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our Valentine’s weekend in Paris — and quite possibly the best little restaurant we’ve ever discovered. From the moment we stepped inside, Mamie welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt less like tourists and more like cherished guests in her own home. Her hospitality is something truly special — attentive, joyful, and heartfelt. Even though our French is limited, she went out of her way to connect with us and even correctly guessing my wife nationality and profession And the food — absolutely extraordinary. The beef bourguignon was hands-down the best we’ve ever tasted: rich, tender, deeply flavorful, and clearly made with love and tradition. It felt like the most authentic French comfort dish imaginable. The wine selection was very good - nice quality and surprisingly reasonably priced, which made our romantic dinner feel indulgent without being over the top. The thoughtful touches made the evening unforgettable — a complimentary drink, a sweet dessert surprise, and small gestures that showed how much Mamie cares about her guests. If you’re visiting Paris and want to feel at home while enjoying outstanding French cuisine, this is the place."

"Cute little restaurant run by an elderly couple. It was highly recommended by the locals if you want real, authentic French food that they also go to. I visited right at it opens and had to wait a little because the space only fitted two to three tables. However, I was given a glass of sangria as I wanted. The owner is really friendly and charming. The food was great and very affordable, I ordered the beef stew and a bottle of their red wine, many sauces to go with my plate. The atmosphere was just amazing, very cozy and warm and welcoming. In the end, the owner gave the guest each a small gift, such a lovely and hospitable place."
